Learning outside the classroom is about raising achievement through an organised, powerful approach to learning in which direct experience is of prime importance.
This is not only about what we learn but importantly how and where we learn. These opportunities can take place on the school site, in the local environment, further afield and through residential opportunities. Beaumont Academy and The Education Village offers a range of activities and opportunities for our students to learn beyond the classroom.
Access to the 'Outdoor Education Team' on a regular basis.
Access to a wide range of externally accredited 'outdoor education awards', including BCU canoeing star awards and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
