It is essential for all our young people's economic futures that The Education Village helps students develop a strong work ethic and good understanding of the life after school. Students who leave The Education Village either at age 16 or 19 to move in to further education, training or employment need to do so having reached their full potential at school and with a strong sense of where their future career ambitions lie.
The Education Village has established exceptional relationships with all the major employers in Darlington to provide opportunities and support for our students. This support includes business mentoring, help with CV completion and interview skills, work placements, apprenticeships and bursaries.
Working with organisations that includes Orange, Cummins, the Department for Education, SES and Teesside University, the Education Village has created strong and valued links between education and business improving local employers understanding and appreciation of what The Education Village students can offer them whilst utilising their business skills and acumen to benefit our young people.
