Welcome We are Beaumont Hill School in the Education Village, Darlington. This is our website showing our different news reports. Our first practice report is about all of the snow we have been having. We went out around the Village and spoke to people and asked them why they think we are having so much snow. We also spoke to Dr.Willis a science teacher at the village.
I was reporting on the snow. I interviewed people coming in and out of school. I asked them what they were thinking about the snow and if they liked it. This man was working from 5 o’clock in the morning until 5pm at night. He was putting grit and salt down to protect the roads and he was cold
By Joe from the Education Village. Thank you for reading this report.
We all asked Dr Willis questions about the snow and weather. We asked him what the difference is between snowflakes and hailstones.
Why it snows and why does snow melt. It gave us good information.
He gave us lots of attention.
Tuesday 6th January I had to take pictures for my school as we were doing a news report for the BBC. I had to take the still pictures of us filming and interviewing people in the snow. I used a video camera to take the pictures and they need to be good ones. I need to keep my hand steady. I really enjoyed this and would like to do it again. The news report is very interesting.
