DARLINGTON EDUCATION VILLAGE
Where learning has no limits

The Darlington Education Village is a pioneering project. We opened our doors to pupils in April 2006, following more than five years of planning. The first two years have been fantastic - perhaps you would like to join us?

Beaumont Hill Special School, Technology & Vocational College, Springfield Primary School and Haughton Community School and Arts College have been brought together as a federation within the Education Village to create one learning campus. The Education Village caters for 1,400 pupils aged from 2 to 19 across a whole range of abilities, in an inclusive environment.

The Village has a range of resources that are second to none. They include interactive whiteboard facilities in every classroom, wireless ICT access throughout, a Learning Resource centre, exceptional performing arts facilities, a television studio, a virtual reality suite, two swimming pools and a number of sensory rooms.

The Education Village offers tremendous opportunities for professional development as well as offering exceptional wellbeing and support opportunities for the successful candidate.
