The Computing Department is a well-resourced and successful department. Equipped with the latest hardware and software to deliver the highest standards and skills.
The Department has three dedicated ICT teaching rooms each equipped with 32-networked PC computers, a colour laser printer, a computer projector, an interactive whiteboard with speakers and wireless access points for BYOD. We pride ourselves as being a very popular, friendly, hardworking department that ensures our students receive high quality, vibrant lessons where they learn and thoroughly enjoy Computing and ICT. With a mutual respect and outstanding relationships between staff and students.
Computer Science is a progressive, supportive subject which aims to provide students with the skills required to interact with the modern world. This is a very important subject as there are very few jobs that have not been affected by the introduction of computers and ICT in all its aspects.
The Computing department consists of two full-time members of staff and one part time teacher, these are;
