We give learners a wider understanding and appreciation of the broad range of business specialisms and encourage them to develop their people, communication, planning and teamworking skills.
Unit 1: Enterprise in the Business World – coursework
In this unit learners will know how trends and the current business environment may impact on a business and plan an idea for a new business. They will also present a business model for a business start-up.
Unit 2:Finance for Business - Exam
In this unit learners will understand the costs involved in business and how businesses make a profit and also understand how businesses plan for success. They will also understand how businesses measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Unit 3: Promoting a Brand – coursework
In this unit learners will explore the use of branding and the promotional mix in business and develop and promote a brand for a business.
Unit 4: Principles of Customer Service - coursework
In this unit learners will understand how businesses provide customer service and demonstrate appropriate customer service skills in different situations.
