EV Celebrate Student of the Year

Darlington Education Village celebrated its student ‘Oscars’ night this week with the annual Student of the Year Awards.

The awards, sponsored by Haughton Residents Association, are a collaboration between the local community and the Education Village to inspire, motivate and support the development and achievement of young people who attend the school.

Staff in school are asked to nominate a young person who they feel has stood out amongst their peers and brought warmth, affection and pride to the school, making the Education Village a special place to be.

From the nominations, three students from each school were invited with their families to attend the Awards evening. The awards categories and winners were;
