Welcome to IT Systems

IT Systems, provides a dedicated and high quality Technical Support Service to the Education Village and Harrowgate Hill Primary via a Managed Service. This Service covers all aspects of IT infrastructure, software and systems across the campus.

We also provide first line technical support to Darlington and Client schools, covering administrative and curriculum networks / computers. This support includes helpdesk, dedicated regular on site support, remote and web based systems.

Our remit is to support schools to raise standards of achievement, improve the quality of teaching and learning, create and share information and digital resources, improve administrational efficiency through the use of ICT and work alongside the curriculum support team.

We continue to work closely with our schools to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to ICT requirements. Our extensive range of services includes:

Administration Support

• SIMS Support by via ITSS Durham
• Helpdesk providing telephone/remote support via ITSS Durham
• Dedicated website, allows you direct access to log new, update existing and monitor progress regarding your helpdesk support requests via ITSS Durham

Technical Support Service

• Basic core contract providing telephone and remote
  support
• Network Manager in Residence (NMiR) Service
• Managed Service Support inc LITE Service
• Enable your teaching staff to concentrate on teaching and learning in the classroom, while we take care of the day-to-day technician duties
• A choice of regular scheduled visits ranging from a half a day fortnight up to Managed Service
• Named technician allocated to your school
• Installation / upgrades of software including routine SIMS upgrades if desired

Remote Backup Service for Schools

This provides a secure off site backup service and is a subscription service with the benefit of:-

• No tape backups or having to check backup logs
• Complete peace of mind. No matter what happens at your school such as hardware failure, data corruption, fire, flood, theft or vandalism you can be sure your data is safe
• Full security of your data with high level encryption
• No more having to buy backup software or hardware
