I am delighted to welcome you to the website of The Education Village and to share with you key aspects of this unique and impressive place of learning. The Education Village comprises Springfield Academy (Primary), Beaumont Hill Academy (Special school) and Haughton Academy (Secondary) sharing impressive facilities as part of a multi-academy trust. The Federation between the three schools in a state of the art, stunning £27 million building, is a unique and innovative provision which has attracted a good deal of interest both nationally and internationally. Since its opening in 2006, hundreds of children have benefited from the personalised, inclusive provision which The Education Village offers. Learning and progress are supported by exceptional resources in learning spaces designed for the 21st century.
The Education Village is committed to providing an outstanding education in the broadest sense. Our key priorities are to:

As pupils move into Haughton Academy we work closely with our partner Primary schools to ensure a smooth transition into Key Stage 3 and equally, we have established robust relationships with our post-16 providers, business and industry partners to ensure that our students are well-equipped for the world of work and have high ambitions for what they want to achieve in life.
This is a school at the heart of its community which values the essential partnership with parents and carers.
