I am delighted to welcome you to the website of The Education Village Academy Trust (EVAT). We are a well-established Trust founded on a set of guiding principles that include valuing diversity, high standards and collaboration.
Our family of schools currently comprises: two mainstream primary academies; a mainstream secondary academy; an all-age generic special academy; and a primary SEMH free school. We believe that by working in partnership, sharing expertise and resources, we can maximise the benefits of the education we provide to all the children and young people we serve.
Three of our academies share a stunning, state-of-the-art, £27 million building, in a unique and innovative setting which has attracted a good deal of interest both nationally and internationally. Since its opening in 2006, thousands of children have benefited from the personalised, inclusive provision made at The Education Village. Learning and progress are supported by exceptional resources in modern learning spaces.
In 2013, Marchbank Free School opened and Gurney Pease Academy also joined our Trust, extending our family and enhancing our collective capacity. EVAT continues to grow, as both Marchbank and Beaumont Hill Academy increase their numbers on roll. We also continue to expand our partnerships beyond the Trust and we welcome approaches from other schools who may be interested in joining us.
EVAT is committed to providing an outstanding education in the broadest sense. Our aims include: developing successful learners; supporting learners to reach their full potential; and extending learners’ moral, social, cultural and spiritual development.
We work closely with partner schools to ensure a smooth transition between primary and secondary education and, equally, we have established fruitful relationships with local post-16 providers, business and industry partners to ensure that our students are well-equipped for the world of work and have high ambitions for what they want to achieve in life.
Our schools are at the heart of their communities and we very much value the essential partnership with parents and carers. We warmly welcome new students, parents, staff and visitors to our academies because we are very proud of our buildings, facilities and, above all, the achievements of our learners. Do please come and see how we harness the potential of children and do all we can to help them realise their highest hopes and most ambitious dreams.
