Raman Sanghera

Raman has been a Deputy Director with the ESFA and a Senior Manager with Ernst Young LLP.  He is a qualified accountant with experience of providing accounting and financial management advice. Raman’s work to date has been focused in the Government & Public Sector, both in the North of England and wider afield. He has worked with a number of education institutions, including Academies, Further Education Colleges and Universities, as well as advising central government departments, local authorities and NHS bodies. With previous experience as an external and internal auditor, Raman’s current expertise is in performance improvement, technical accounting advice, budget management and cost savings. As a previous Non-Executive Director of EVAT, he is experienced in audit, assurance, financial planning, budgeting and managing change in large complex organisations.  He is currently Assistant Director, Strategic Finance and Business Partnering at Homes England, and Audit and Risk Committee Chair at North East Ambulance Service.
