During periods of Remote Learning our pastoral is as important as ever.
Danielle Bussey, our Home School Mentor and School Counsellor, is available as normal. Danielle continues to support children who are still in school and children who are at home. She is also available to support parents who may benefit from additional support.
Danielle can be contacted via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or via her work mobile on 07850088773.
All class teachers are available every day, during normal school hours, through their work email. Staff email addresses can be found here. Please note that if you email a teacher outside of normal working hours they will email you back during the next school day. Sometimes a conversation is more appropriate so telephone conversations with teachers can be arranged at a time convenient to you. Please email your child's class teacher or call the school office on 01326248153 to arrange.
Mr Gartland can be contacted on 01325248153 or on email email@example.com
Our free breakfast offer in school continues unchanged during times in which our school is partially closed. Throughout the times that our school has been partially closed and during holiday periods we have made home deliveries of healthy and nutritious breakfast food. We currently have just over 50% of our children receiving regular, free deliveries. If you would like to be added to our distribution list simply email Mr Gartland (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone the school office.
We continue to offer a full school meals service during periods of Remote Learning. Children who are in school and are entitled to free school meals will receive them as normal. Children who are learning from home will be provided with supermarket vouchers to the value of £15 a week.
If your circumstances have changed and you think you may be entitled to have your child receive either free meals in school or the supermarket vouchers please visit our School Meals website page or telephone the school office on 01325248153.
Our usual safeguarding procedures remain during periods of Remote Learning. Mr Gartland is the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Mrs White and Mrs Austin are the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads. If you have any concerns about a child you should contact us in school.
Members of the public can contact the Darlington Safeguarding Partnership's Children's Initial Advice Team if they have a concern regarding a child or a young person by telephoning 01325 406222.
All of our FROG class pages have links to the 'Think You Know' website where children and parents can find support and advice on any e-safety related matters.
In line with the Trust Safeguarding Child Protection Policy, additional checks will be made on any identified vulnerable children who are not in school.
If your child has Special Educational Needs and you need additional support or advice during partial school closure please do not hesitate in contacting Kathryn White, our SEND Co-ordinator. Kathryn can be contacted via email email@example.com or by telephoning the school office on 01325 248153.
