Welcome to the Education Village Academy Trust
Established in 2006, we are a “mixed” Multi Academy Trust (MAT), bringing together mainstream and special schools and academies based in the borough of Darlington.
We are a village and by building on our individual strengths, sharing our skills, and weaving each other’s ideas and perspectives into our practice we are able to offer unique and enriched learning experiences.
We are proud to be part of a truly inclusive Trust. We firmly believe that fairness in opportunity and acceptance of individuality enhances understanding of the world, prepares pupils for the future and creates young adults who value, appreciate and are able to make an active contribution to the community.
Our Academies
Springfield Academy
A mainstream primary school providing education to pupils aged 4 to 11 years
Haughton Academy
A mainstream secondary school providing education to pupils aged 11 to 16 years
Beaumont Hill Academy
A specialist provider of education to children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities aged 2 to 19 years
Marchbank Free School
A specialist provider of education to children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties aged 4 to 11 years
